I'm an online consultant myself but you could do either/or and even both if you like. And I don't do it for the money, I do it to be able to offer my readers the
discounts on the magazines. But, after being with them for a while now, I can see how they do earn so much. The
products are very high quality and just beautiful.
Become a consultant of Southern Living at HOME or Host a Party. You can host a virtual party through me and earn hostess dollars (to spend in the SLAH catalog), or I can help you get set up as a consultant ($199). Or the best scenario (to save some out of pocket cash) is to host a party first, use the hostess dollars towards the consultant package, and then I can help you get set up as a consultant.
You can earn a 25% profit on your personal sales. You also earn a 5% business supply credit based on retail sales so you don’t spend your profits on important items such as catalogs and order forms. Earn up to an additional 9% of wholesale each month when you build your team.
How much you earn in total hostess rewards depends upon the amount of sales. The max is 20%, and you hit that at $1,500 in sales, which would be more than enough to put towards the consultant fees.
In the Starter Kit: The Starter Kit is filled with samples of exclusive products, supplies to get your business started, and even a one-year subscription to Southern Living magazine—a retail value of more than $500 for only $199 + tax!
For the Magazines: You earn $5 per subscription, but that’s if you want to discount it from the regular 19.95 price, that comes out of your commission. If you are a consultant, you earn both the commission and the hostess dollars on your own orders.
Does all this make sense?
For the SLAH personal website: You are charged $9.95mth. You get your first month free I believe and to be honest, it has really worked for me online and my investment has been totally worth it. I don’t plan to do parties or anything, however I did sell some to my neighbor!! Lol You
can see mine here.
Every month has different specials. Example for April: If you get $250 in sales, you get a free Jackson Square Tray and a FREE 8 issue subscription to Southern Living for the hostess. Sometimes there are specials for the customer when they spend xx amount of dollars on one order.
