Blog Theme Change

I posted this as a blog but thought I'd get a response faster doing it this way. Anyway I have a regular blog theme and wanted to change it to a Magazine Style theme to make it look like less of a blog, more of a website. The reason for the change is to make it more appealing visually and also to make it more user friendly. I write a bunch of different topics much like a magazine and it's contests so it would make the most sense to do it. I guess I'm being chicken and want to check out your opinions on it first! Here's the theme I'm looking at. I'd like to change the teal to pink (my signature site color!) any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

I like the magazine-style, but I'm seeing it so much now that it just doesn't look innovative anymore. MomFuse (http://momfuse.com) uses the exact same theme as you, and I've seen it elsewhere as well.

Have you taken a look at ThemeHybrid? They have a few free themes that might work well for you, like the structure theme.
