I did a big celebration for my 1000th post on one blog recently. I'm only at 310 on my other. I think it's a milestone to remember. If you have something to giveaway, a giveaway post is common. Once you have more posts and visitors, you may be able to get a company to sponsor a giveaway for your blog, but you'd have to plan that more than 2 posts in advance.

If nothing else, at least make the 100th post full of colourful graphics, some stats on why and how and when you started your blog and maybe some points on where you think it's going.

I didn't, but that's just because my blog wasn't public for my 100th post.

I am nearing the 500th mark -- and toying with the idea of something for it.
