It's been said that journaling is therapeutic. Putting pen to paper can give us time to reflect and hone ideas we might not remember or appreciate otherwise.

Do you journal? Why is it important to you? If you don't, do you think journaling is in your future?

When I read this topic I got excited.  I journal everything!  I don't think I could make it through the day if I didn't.  I have a box full of old journals and every couple of years its fun to look back through and see if I realized/completed everything I had written down.  I love journaling both personally & professionally…being able to mark through completed to-do lists makes my day...:)

That's amazing, Paige! I wish I was a journaler. My daughters journal eveything, and I admire that. I wish I could be more purposeful about writing with paper and pen.

I dont journal on a regular basis but I do have a "Start Something" book in which I write and brainstorm future plans. I also just started blogging so I kind of consider that to be by journal now as well.

I unfortunately don't journal like I should. I really should though. It would be a great thing to look back at older journals and see how things have changed. :)

I love to journal! I don't personally journal as much anymore, but I journal to my two girls all the time!! From long letters to simple, little paragraphs about something funny they might have done that day! I love to record all of those moments--big and small so I don't forget one day! I'm sure they'll love reading them when they're grown :)

I am an on and off journal writer.  Just the other day, I found a journal entry written 3 years ago…it was a letter to my unborn child.  I read it to my 3 year old little girl for the first time, then we looked at her ultrasound pictures.  It meant so much to me. =) So, not only is journal writing therapeutic but it's cool to read years later to see how much you have grown and learned.
