Hi Jennifer,

I personally try to go back and respond to all comments that I receive on my blog. I feel if people were nice enough to take the time to leave a comment, then I could easily take the time to respond. Plus, I feel its a nice way to connect!

I almost always respond to non giveaway comments. If the comment is just a short "lol" or similar I usually don't but if it's a compliment or experience, etc, I try to always respond as well as check out that person blog if they have one and comment on one of their posts.

I don't respond to comments. I reciprocate comments to others blogs.
when I get people who respond with auto response's its SUPER ANNOYING! and that thanks for stopping by comment...You can keep it. I already got thanks if you came by my blog and left me a comment too. I think traffic for traffic is fair

I usually try to respond to comments requiring a response and started out leaving a reciprocal comment on their blogs, but have been slack in doing that. I think it's a nice idea and mutually beneficial to both blogs, plus it's like showing our manners you know? A way to say thank you back. Guess we could call it blogging etiquette. :-)

I try really hard to do this, because I have a great respect for people who take the time to actually read my blog and comment.

And let's face it, when the Big Bloggers respond to me, I'm ecstatic! So spread the love, I say! :)

I respond to comments! I always debate whether to respond on the commenter blog or on my blog! I have it set up so they get an email once I respond through my blog but, it's all about being social! In any event I'll still visit the persons blog who commented even if I reply to their comment on my blog. Some people don't do that and that can be irritating.

I just did a post about pretty much the same thing BUT on Twitter! (How much Klout do you have?)

I definitely respond to each and every comments I get on my blog. On top of that, I would also copy back my response (from my post) and go to the blogs/websites of those who left me the comment, browse through some of their latest posts, select the one I like and paste back my response on top of my feedback/comment on their post. I may not be able to reply ASAP but I try to make my very best effort to do all this.

For non-giveaway comments, I try to either respond to the comment (if the comment needs a response) or go and read the person's blog and leave a comment. It may take me a little time to do it as life happens, but I try my best to respond.

Good point. I don't send out an autoresponder (I can't stand those either) but I usually send an email reply to the comment and I at least visit their blog - if I leave a comment on their blog itself depends on how much time I have and how many kids are crawling on me at the moment lol.

I like to respond to all comments left on my blog! I look forward to comments and I think responding is a way of saying thanks for taking the time to read and comment.
