Feeling critical?

I just started blogging (ok...well I started bloggin in May but recently started a brand new blog on wordpress so I'm not completely new) and I could really use some honest oppinions on what my fellow mom bloggers think. I'm planning on things taking off more in February when I actually start having a set topic each week/month and a few giveaways because then I'll have something to actually focus on and not this hodge podge of ideas that seem to keep spilling out. Nonetheless, would you mind checking me out and either leave me a comment on here or on the blog or an e-mail...whatever's easiest for you. I would really appreciate the criticism! :-)

Apart from niche blogs, aren't most blogs a "hodge podge of ideas"? I think your blog looks great... and you got an award, so from the looks of it, others think the same way!

I think your blog is great. Your posts seem honest and are easy to relate to. Just keep posting as regularly as possible and you'll find your "voice" and groove. I personally like a bit of hodge podge in the blogs I read.

Sarah - you have some great posts, but the organization/design needs a little work.

My first impression was I don't know what this blog is about or who writes this blog. I would work on developing a consistent image - eg. your URL and title don't match or relate - with a header, a tagline and an about section.

I also think sidebars with white backgrounds work best when you have a lot of "blog bling" you want to display.
