It's normal to make mistakes.
However, when you're reading someones words and you find typos, how forgiving are you? Do you keep going back to that blog? Or do you decide not to return?

it wouldn't make me stop and I am sure we all have typos from time to time that we just don't notice.
Well, I have a dear friend blogger who makes a LOT of typos, and although it really bothers me, I have to keep going back. Sometimes I feel like telling her that Blogger has spellcheck!!
I would continue to go back to that blog if I like the content. I know, I have some typos in my posts...ooops!
Typos happen. I don't think it would keep me away from a blog unless it was totally obnoxious and the content wasn't very appealing anyway...
I think the beauty of blogging is that it is less informal than a newspaper, book, etc. If we have a typo in our blog, big deal, we have bigger problems to deal with as moms!

I'd keep going back.
I completely agree with you. The last thing I wonder about my day is "Did my blog or Twitter have a typo?" It's more, 'Crap! I forgot to buy food for dinner!'
Hi Sweetie,

I know I might have had a couple of typos on my blog. Please forgive me. It doesn't bother me if I see one on someone else's blog. I'll keep coming back. But on a professional website I'm much more critical. If I see a typo on that, I don't take it seriously.
Nothing to forgive dearest Angela. You silly!
Typos on Twitter or Facebook don't bother me at all, but I consider a blog post equal to an article and find typos, incorrect grammar or syntax errors unacceptable.
If you want to write, do it right. Invest in
Strunk and White's "The Elements of Style" and "The Chicago Manual of Style" and give the written word appropriate respect.
You were on my blog for sure LOL should I take this personally??? JK it happens and a lot to some people Me lets say! LOL I really need to spell check more :)

But that doesn't stop me from going back to my blog LOL or to any other out there that I really like and follow and you know!

P.S. I'm sure I made several typos in this comment LOL
If they are honest mistakes, I don't mind. What bothers me the most is when the wrong spelling for a word is used (i.e. there and their) homonyms. I feel that if your old enough to have a blog, your old enough to know the difference between words that sound the same but are spelt different. That is the only real irk I have with spelling, unless there are a lot of typos, then that kinda bugs me too.

I realize fingers tend to work faster then your brain sometimes, but there is always spell check and backspace keys.
Typos are okay. Everyone makes mistakes. But bad grammar, sometimes that gets me, mostly because it breaks my concentration and I have to think about what they are trying to say. But generally, I'll go back if I like the content.
