I spend too much time on the internet, looking for good places to advertise, good people to talk to and good places to sell my crafts. All together I'd guestimate I spend about 6 hours a day!

It's really hard when you're entire livelihood is on your computer; you start out reading your email and before you know it you're following links to somewhere wasting time surfing aimlessly on the internet... instead of catching up on your blogging or networking with others---which is what you had originally intended to do!!! LOL

I've recently thought of assigning 2 networks per each day of the week; MySpace & Bookmarking on Mondays; Twitter & Blogging on Tuesdays; Google & Plurk on Wednesdays; Ning & Multiply on Thursdays; Facebook & Affiliate links on Friday; Make Crafts & Etsy for weekends...

Let me just say, this schedule hasn't worked for me yet, cause just reading my email (average of 55 per day) and replying takes half the day!!! LOL

And this doesn't account for the time I spend doing the digital scrapbooks, pixel art and photography!

That is a startling question. I haven't given it much thought before, but now that I think about it I am a bit astonished. I am at about 3 hours a day or 18 hours a week just networking. For some this may seem low but I am new to the blogging and web networking scene. I hate to say it but I only see this number going up.

I probably don't want to know how much time I spend, lol. Generally I try to keep the laptop on the kitchen counter and do things whenever I get a free minute. And a lot of my blog posts are just started in word pad and I add a few sentences here and there, then finish it up later in the evening when it's quieter.

I'm online all the time. I should really get an outside hobby because I'm starting to get bored with it :)

I don't think I want to count the hours, but I usually only have time for it in the evenings.

OMG...Blogging is my life right now. I spend HOURS a day on blogs...reading, writing, and designing. I also pop on and off of Facebook ALL the time. 8-10 hrs? IDK!

hmm... I am facing my computer at least 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, for my regular job and I hook to blogging and social networking at most 3 hours day. So approximately, I spend around 15 hours a week for blogging and social networking.

I was caught in Twitter there for a bit & quite addicted and while I still enjoy it, I've learned that it's okay to be away from it. I used that time for family and it's been so much better for me, mentally.

I don't spend near as much time on there anymore. Still not so keen on facebook.......

Blogging- I've also learned that I can skip a day or two and people will still be there. I'm more relaxed now, much less stressed as I was.

Just gotta get your priorities straight;)

Great question! Having a 16 month old to run around after really makes a difference to my time online, but I still probably get at least two hours a day. I don't necessarily think it's a bad thing as long as I'm not neglecting the important things in my life. BTW, I do not consider housework an important thing!

I spend a tremendous amount of time online, but I'd actually like to spend more time networking. Unfortunately, I"m too tired of looking at the screen after I"m done writing. I've been blogging/writing online for nearly a year and still need t work to tweak my schedule!
