Hi Gidget - 

I'm new to blogging and no expert, but I heard that Google + is important since it can help your Google search rankings.  It's especially important to post your posts.  I've also found a number of groups where I'm able to post and promote my posts.

I use it. but i cant get a lot of action on it. which sucks. sorry i was no help
