Greetings!

If you are a mother of 3-8 years old kids, then their healthy teeth would be your preference. I know today's moms are showing much concern for the teeth healthy of their kids, and if you are looking for some smart tips, then must read this thread thoroughly.

First of all, you should teach your kid how to brush the teeth. According to the American Dental Association, kids should start brushing their teeth after the appearance of first teeth. Moms should make sure that kids are using fluoride toothpaste and a soft brush. As a mother, you can also perform this brushing activity on behalf of your kid, but yes, kids should learn to brush teeth before the age of 6.

Secondly, if we talk about the amount of toothpaste, then according to dental experts, it should be about a pea size or a size of rice grain for kids. A daily habit of flossing is also good to keep kids' teeth healthy. In this regard, you don't need to wait for all teeth and even after the presence of 2-3 teeth, you can starting flossing your kid's teeth. However, you will have to be a helping hand for flossing till the age of 8 or 10.

On the other hand, you should also brush your teeth your kid to teach him how to pick a brush and clean teeth. Regular dental checkups are also necessary in this regard. Though there are several Pediatric Dentistry services would be available, but if you are living in Arizona, then I would recommend getting services of Palm Valley experts from here https://pvpd.com/. Especially if your kid is having any dental issue then contact with dental expert as soon as possible. Otherwise, you can go for dental checkups once within 3 months.

At last, as a mother, I would suggest my fellow mothers decrease the amount of sugar from your kid's daily intake. Likewise, Christmas is coming, and instead of a greeting than with too many candies, sugar items and cakes etc., you can offer them fruits and veggies as well.

In this thread, I tried to share the best suggestions with mothers regarding the health of kids' teeth. But, if you have more pieces of advice, then you can share by commenting below.
