Seriously! My blog is not a blog of reviewing stuff, highly monetized, give ways or anything like that. I've been blogging my mom experience as a grad student that I WAS. I don't even remember when was the last time I blogged (and I don't want to peek to put a date here!), but this spring semester and summer were HECTIC ones for my family. My husband finished his Master's Degree back in May then, he took over and I finished my PhD in July. Ever since then I've been taking a huge vacation at home :P and we are waiting for a job offer back home in Puerto Rico (so hopefully we'll move within the next two weeks).

Now, all the sudden... I realized all we've been through and that I haven't blogged about it for a while. I even feel ashamed for being laid back in my blog. Now I have not idea how to come back and if my readers will still follow me! I mean, my readership has grown (with no new postings), but I am not sure how to go about it.

I started a new blog about Geocaching in Family, but is in Spanish anyway and here I only post every time I find a cache (in case some Spanish speakers out there are interested it is http://geocachingenfamilia.blogspot.com). Also started another one in Spanish (no posts yet) about the new stage in our lives so I can share with friends and family.

My blog (http://frommomtomom.blogspot.com) was started with the idea of sharing my life as a grad student mom and all my interests. I mean, if I find something interesting to share I do. If my son makes me laugh with his kiddisms, I write about it. All from Aromatherapy tips to mom tips to cooking, etc.

Do you have any idea how I should go about it? Please help... should I blog about what has happened in the past months or should I just ignore that I ignored my blog...

Any insights are appreciated! :) Many thanks for your help! :)

I would jump back in by thanking my readers for staying with me and by doing a current post with a promise to catch up on what has gone on in our life since so much has happened. Then do one or two posts to catch people up and that is that. Lots of people get out of blogging for awhile. I did and then just jumped back in with current stuff.
Great question! I'm trying to get back on the bogging track myself. I really like Margot's suggestion

Congrats to both you and your husband! Great suggestions here! I follow many blogs that don't post regularly and when they peek their head back in I'm very glad to see them. No love lost ;-)
