I am a designer and I design my own. However, there are many many beautiful free themes of there it's insane I can stay in business LOL. Happy hunting :)

I had someone else do it and I was extremely happy with her - Lindsey from Sour Apple Studios (sourapplestudios.com). Her designs are beautiful and she is so great to work with. I had my blog done within a week - she is very reasonable. If you contact her let her know that Otherhood, LLC. referred you. Good luck!

A friend of mine actually designed the look of mine. She doesn't usually design for other people but she agreed to do mine. Before she designed my blog I used thecutestblogontheblock.com I always made sure I looked through the banners to make sure they had one to match the background I wanted. They've got some really cute ones.

I did my own.. I still have a lot of work to do, but it's a work in progress! HTML is definately confusing at times and frustrating! I spent a lot of time on it, and I'm not 100% satisfied with it, but I'm glad that I can change things/fix things around whenever I want.

What a great question! Here is my problem....I can do the graphic design, but can't do css and if I understand how the blog backgrounds work you need to know css right? Most HTML I can figure out fine, but it does get tedious. So for now I also use thecutestblogontheblock for my background and do theother graphics myself. I love doing graphic work and don't mind helping anyone out on that for free if I have the time. And if anyone wants to trade out some graphic work for some coding advice I'd sure take you up on the offer!

It looks like you use blogger ? Shabby blogs has free backgrounds .. shabbyblogs.com i am not a blogger blogger but a wordpress geek so i can't help.

I designed my own (babybumpdiaries.com), however you can try googling "free blogger templates" or "free blogspot templates", etc. There are also tons of cheap ones as well. Not sure if price is important. I typically design blogs for $300-500.

Goodluck. I've been trying to do the 3 layout for awhile now and keep ending up in tears. I too want a blog makeover.

I've been tinkering with it alot though and hope to learn more on my own. Some like to say how cheap it is to get someone to do it, but cheap is reality when you just don't have the moola.

If your using blogger you can get really cute free backgrounds and do your own header your self. If you just follow their instructions. Check out Shabby Blogs.com for free background and button images too. OR theres another site Cutest blog on the block they have tutorials and everything to get you to a great do it yourself blog makeover.
