I need followers... I'll follow back.

I just set up a new blog for reviews and giveaways and I'm up to 40 followers. I don't think anyone will approach me if my follower list is so low and would love to get up to 100 and more. I joined other groups here that promise to follow back and my list is like over 100 and people are not keeping their promise to follow back. So hoping I could get some recruits here.
