I do think it is too busy. I would look for a fixed width theme. I am on a 22" monitor - so you content stretches alllllllll the way across the page.

I also think the backgrounds behind your content and sidebars should not be transparent. You can still use a pretty background, but choose a fixed width theme with a white background behind the blog to make everything look less cluttered.

It does feel a bit busy but I think even putting boarders to separate your posts from your sidebars would help. It would totally fix the problem but it would help define the areas of your page better without adding colors and totally redesigning. I like the white.

I don't think its too busy but there is no separation between body and sidebars. Some color would be great.

I agree with those who have suggested dividers between your posts and your sidebars--I really had a hard time figuring out where one ended and the other began. I also tend to prefer blogs that only have one sidebar, but if the sidebars aren't too busy, 2 are okay.

I don't think it's too busy, although it could use a little bit of space between the columns. Also you have an error in your post about tweets.

I've seen blogs with 10X the amount as your blog, I think your's is just right.
