My Blog Needs Help

I would like for my blog to have more interesting things on it other than just posts. I do not want to do giveaways or reviews. Any suggestions? Also, I was thinking of blogging twice a week instead of once a week, does it really matter?

how about posting when you see a great deal, or news story?
Maybe post a favorite video or something once a week? Just something to give a bit more insight into you and what you like and to engage your readers a bit more?

I love your writing style - your posts are great! How about a weekly (or monthly) parent post - post a "bad mom" moment, a OMG I can't believe my kid said/did that, etc. and encourage other moms to chime in? Set it up like a blog hop maybe...

When I first started blogging in 2005, I broke up regular posts with stuff like lists of my favorite movies, recaps of my favorite TV shows, and my thoughts about things happening in the news. There was no such thing as review or giveaway blogging back then LOL
