I don't know because I do not talk to then about my blogging. I like my blogging to be just my world where i go to talk aboiut my life with no restrictions.

Many of my IRL friends rarely use the internet, so many of them don't even know what a blog is. Needless to say, they don't really get it. While our relatives don't really get the whole blogging thing, they enjoy my blog as it allows them to be part of our lives since they live far away from us. My immediate family is so use to it that they think it's normal. My daughter always wonders if I'm going to "blog about it" or if I need to take a picture "for the blog". lol! She thinks it odd that other moms don't blog. ;)

That's so sad! I have lots of friends who blog. I'm active on TheBump.com message boards, too, and so many of my friends on there blog. :)

They think it's just silly at first - but then they go and read it. I put quite a bit of effort into what I write, and they do see this. I think this is when they change their minds and realise that my blog is a place for me to express myself. Then they are supportive and tell me how much they enjoy it.

I guess I'm lucky that way ;)

Many of my friends and family just don't get it. And they can't believe that I blog for free . . . well, kind of. They don't understand how I am always viewing life through that lens of my blog! But yet they love it when I blog about them! Go figure!

I'm pretty sure they all think it's silly.... I get compliments on my writing but I don't think they understand WHY I do it.

They are supportive. But they don't understand the amount of TIME and DEDICATION it takes to create it, write for it, market it, AND be successful.

Even though my family doesn't usually leave any comments or "follow," I know they are reading on a regular basis and enjoy feeling like they are connected with what's going on in our lives despite living quite some distance away. The stories about the kids, videos, recipes I am trying, commentary about my husband's business trips.....all appreciated! So sure, they don't blog and don't really "get it" as far as the time commitment, but they sure do appreciate my effort!

Friends? They just think I'm crazy. :)

My friends and family really enjoy my blog because it's a way to keep everyone updated on my life & thoughts and share my personal photos. Even if we don't speak every day, it's a way to stay connected.

Mainly my family enjoys when I post photos. Since I'm a professional photographer, I always make sure my photos are top notch when I post them to my blog. :)

Some of my family and friends think that my blogging and Web presence are absolutely unnecessary and even ridiculous. While it may be both of those things, it's something I enjoy, and luckily my family and friends don't dictate my choices. :)
