Navigating MBC and meeting moms

Hi! I've only been on MBC for a couple of days. I've joined lots of groups, but am still a little lost on how to actually interact with other moms on here. A couple of people have friended me, which I appreciate! But I enjoy getting to know people and chatting. What is the best way to do that here? Can someone help me get started? Thank you so much!

I joined up a few years ago, but never really used it until today. I'm just clickin' around, exploring! Not super helpful, I know, but fun! :)

It looks like each group actually has its own forum, so I'm wondering if that's the better way to contact people and get conversation going. I've had some new followers from here already, but other than finding me on the first page if I did something recently (I'm the #2 top person at the moment, apparently, which is a little freaky...) I'm not sure how people are finding me! I guess the groups, but I haven't figured out how yet. LOL

Still browsing! I'm so excited to be here I'm about bursting, but I've been on a lot of sites and this is being harder to figure out how to actually get in touch with other users of the site. I must be missing something, surely!!
