Obesity in School Aged Kids: Study and Findings

Obesity is a common problem today even among kids. According to a new study published in New England Journal of Medicine, about 50% of children who are deemed obese in eighth grade were obese before even they entered kindergarten. There are many factors that lead to a child becoming overweight and even obese. Just some of those are food, activities, sleep, genetics and emotions. We need to address the issues that cause obesity at home or school, where it starts.
