Ok I know this is a repetitive question but when is too early to start potty training, or is there never a too early? I always get so many different responses like when your child is ready or around two but I feel that I just want to see what majority age group is ready. How old was your child when you started to train??

My son is 23 months and nowhere near ready. I think around 2.5 is the "Standard" but some kids get trained earlier and some later.we are *hoping* to train him this summer, but we will see where he is at then. There is DEFINITELY a too early, and if you try and your kid isn't ready then you need to stop and try again later - which apparently is hard for a lot of people to do. Good luck :)
Thanks:) I geuss ever kid is different for sure

My daughter showed every sign of being ready to potty train before she was 2, and was nearly potty trained by her second birthday. However, along came my pregnancy at about the same time, with extreme complications. Combine a Mommy on bedrest with a strongwilled girly in full fledged terrible twos, fast forward to three and a half, and she's still not 100% potty trained, although she is doing well. Am I happy about that? No wat!! No parent is perfect and all children are different. Go with your instincts about your own child. I actually wrote one of my first blog posts (last month...lol) about this. Check it out: http://pennypinchingpeach.com/2013/02/12/the-princess-and-the-potty/
My daughter was fully potty-trained a month before she turned three, while my nephew got to it earlier (at 2 years old). I only started to potty train my daughter when I felt she was ready, as I know it would only frustrate both of us if I insisted to train her even when she's not yet receptive to the idea. So my answer to your question is, it's too early if your child is not yet physically and emotionally ready :)
When my oldest was 2 I introduced him to it. For about 2 days he did well and loved it, on the 3rd day he would kick and scream on his way to the potty. Every. Single. Time. So I waited 6 months and started again...same results. Same results at 3 also.
When he was about 3 1/2 he woke up one morning and literally wouldn't allow me to put the diaper on him. At all! He wanted the big boy pants. And he's been potty trained ever since. (And don't get me wrong, we had our fair share of accidents and still took it slow. But it was a lot easier than I thought it was going to be).
You can start your training after 13 or 14 months. Because this is the age in which they learn very fast and adopt any environment. Potty training is also a tedious task for many parents, I know it. But I want to tell them that they are just kids you should trying with them not pressurizing them. I started my kid's training after his first birthday, and he learned so fast.
I potty trained my kids at the age of 2 - 2.5 and they are fully potty train day and night by then. It wasn't too difficult because they develop the sense of need of using the toilet quite early.
I think if you google potty traiing readiness, you might be a ble to answer some questionnaire and determine the readiness in your child.
Also, i discovered a nice video and potty training guide from Start Potty Training.
Well in my case i trained my son when he was just 9 months old, i found it was right time for him to sit in a small latrine, though initial period was tough as he had no idea why we made him sit there, but slowly & gradually he was made to understand the importance of doing potty in a proper place.
