REAL blogs?! Where are you?

So I joined MBC last week and I enjoy all the new blog I'm following and all the new followers I have. But one slight complaint I have is a lot of the blogs are nothing more then giveaways and coupon blogs.

Are there any bloggers out there that stick with general mommy topics, crafts, reading, marriage?

If so I want to follow my blog and exchange I think you'll enjoy my blog.

My blog is nothing but me. My daily life and adventures of being a mom. I dont do giveaways at all. It is a blog about the humerous side of being a wife and mom. You should check it out.

As mom of 10, I blog a primarily about family life, leaving the corporate world to start a vineyard, frugal living (since our house in AL still has not sold after 2 years this is a necessity) and parenting tips. I do have 1 new giveaway each week so I post 1 review for it (on Saturday) and then on Mondays I have a giveaway linky but otherwise it is mommy/family stuff.

My blog is about the issues we face raising kids and living life in today's world. A few recent discussions were "New condoms for 12-year-old boys", "Grinding - The way kids are dancing at school dances", "The way teens are dressing these days", "How do we teach our kids about the dangers of sex offenders", just to name a few.

Seriously, I think people are completely misunderstanding what the OP means by a "REAL" blog!!! I've clicked on a few here that claim "Oh I'm ALL about family life/moms/kids.." and when I get there all I see are giveaways giveaways giveaways! I find it completely frustrating too! You start to feel like the ONLY way *your* blog will ever get noticed is if you do giveaways also. And I'm just NOT into that at all. I just want to have a nice craft/mom blog, And even when someone puts out the call for a few "REAL" blogs, half of the responses she gets are giveaway people jumping on board--"HEY CHECK ME OUT I'M TOTALLY WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR FOLLOW ME CLICK ME BE MY FRIEND".
Okay, jumping off soapbox. Its just something thats been a bee in my bonnet for the last couple weeks too.
