I dont charge to do a review, but I do have a banner up that I charge for. I do not return samples, and occasionally will offer a contest for a product that I have not personally reviewed. When that is being the case, I simply review the website not the PRODUCT.

I'm actually trying to cut down on individual review posts. I'm trying to combine them more with giveaways. (Since blogging is my "hobby", I need to make sure that posting doesn't take over my life!)

Here is my review policy:

1) I never charge for reviews.

2) I don't return samples, but if it is an expensive item and they provide postage I don't have a problem dropping it in the mail.

3) I won't review products that I haven't touched and used myself, but I will give a shout-out to a company or product that I think my readers would appreciate knowing about.

You should start off by reviewing things that you use or things you have just purchased. Make sure to write thorough reviews and before you know it, a company or PR firm will contact you to write reviews of their products.
