I'm headed to Disneyland at the end of the month and will probably need a baby carrier for Kaila who is only 6 months old. Which carrier would you suggest for long days at the Magic Kingdom?

I LOVE the Moby or Mobi, not sure on the spelling....my mother actually made one for me and I took it with my 3 month old to Disney last June. They are really simply made and once you figure out how to tie them they do wonders for keeping the strain off your back. They can be a bit pricey (that's why mommy dearest made me one) but they last and are able to keep up with a growing child! You can look them up on Youtube for an idea of what they are all about. I loved mine!!! Hope this helps :)
I love the german woven wraps like the Didymos, Hoppediz,
I also have a Napsack, and others have used Ergo's, or Mei Tai carriers.
I am a very petite woman (4' 9"). I have a Moby and it worked well when my son was smaller and if I wasn't going to be taking him off me a lot. Meaning, if I was going to be doing a lot of walking, it would be great. He often fell asleep in it. Even the small seemed to swallow me in material but the great thing about that is it provides enough material for more than one person, even of fairly different sizes, to use it to carry the same baby.
I also have a Mei-Tai which I prefer as well for long carrying sessions. It has less material overall than the Moby but great shoulder and back support straps (mine is a Babyhawk). It too is not overly convenient for popping a kid on and off of you.
I also have a K'Tan. I'm still learning to use this one but it seems to have some of the best features: 8 positions but less material than the Moby, easier to change positions in, easier to pop baby in and out of the carrier.
Hope that helps. ~ tara (http://iwantthursdays.blogspot.com)
I have the Baby Hawk and I love it, it's completely hands free and we have taken ours on vacation. We have a baby hawk and a hip style carrier and I prefer the baby hawk for longer trips as I always felt like I still had to hold our child when he was in the hip style carrier. Others may be more comfy with a hip style sling but I prefer the baby hawk.
Baby Hawk or Beco are my personal favorites. :-) Whatever you chose stay away from the "Crotch Dangler" aka Baby Bjorn.
I love my sleepy wrap! It fits my body well and is adjustable to fit almost any size. It is stretchy, so I do not worry about my little one not having enough room or being uncomfortable.
Right now my girl is 1 and does not like her carrier that much, most of the time. When she does we use a snuggli, which is front facing and I think is better for a bit older babies (like 6 months+) because it allows them to really look around, but still be close to mom. :) Have a great time in Disneyland, wish I could go!
