What is blogging for you? A job, a hobby, or a combination of both?

So many mom bloggers are in different phases of blogging. Some are brand-new to blogging and consider it a hobby. Other moms have been blogging for years and now consider it a hybrid between a hobby and a job. And some mom bloggers approach their blogs strictly from a business point of view.

For me it's a hobby and a job. LOL..but the job part isn't quite there yet! I love to write and enjoy writing for my blog. However, my goal is to one day have some paid freelance writing jobs and finally finish a children's book and devotional book I have been wanting to do for years. In the meantime, I am having fun blogging for a hobby and trying to get connected with other mom bloggers.

Well it started off as a place to journal my ups and downs to being a parent! I never knew the social media behind bloggin. I would love to one day be able to make a little bit of money off my blog , but refuse to lose the reason I started.

It has always been a hobby for me. In fact I consider myself a blog addict since I have more than 1 blog. In fact already 2, working on a 3rd, and I regularly guest post at 3 other places.

I do some paid to post stuff, but I am not religious about it... in fact, I am REALLY picky and make sure it pertains to what my blog's focus.

Mine is a a combination. Initially, I started a blog just for business PR, but it has turned into so much more. I've even acquired a paying job at another blog. We love to hear feedback.

Like most of you blogging is a hobby, but I would like to make it my job.
I've been blogging for five years now, and I make about thirty dollars a month with Google adsense.

I would like to improve that, but find it difficult.

for me, blogging is a hobby only cause I don't do it all the time like i used to. when i did paid blogging, it was a job. but i don't do that anymore cause everyone who has higher rank then i do get all the posts before me.

One blog is all about working from home and has a little of personal experiences as well as post to generate income. I also have blogs for both my other business sites for people to feed to for updates. I have a personal blog that I consider hobby, I can let myself go there and not have to be so specific on how or what I write there. I have both but not in combination, separate.

Right now a hobby, I started it as an outlet when I was laid off in December while I job search. I love doing it and would love to turn into a job but dont have delusions it will ever be a full time job but one hopes.

Blogging for me is actually both a job and a hobby. But I don't feel like it's a job since I don't just see it as a way to earn money. I love to write, and I love to blog. I love meeting new friends in this blogosphere. If I make money from my blog, that's fine. If I don't it's fine too. My main source of income online isn't my blog but from writing articles.
