What is blogging for you? A job, a hobby, or a combination of both?

So many mom bloggers are in different phases of blogging. Some are brand-new to blogging and consider it a hobby. Other moms have been blogging for years and now consider it a hybrid between a hobby and a job. And some mom bloggers approach their blogs strictly from a business point of view.

I just starting blogging in Sept. 2010 and am so addicted. I find writing to be therapeutic and never realized I had so much to say. My husband agrees that I've been a happier person since starting to blog (not that I wan unhappy before, but you know what i mean.) So, I guess I use blogging as an outlet and find comfort in other blogs.

I would love to say one day that blogging is my job, because it comes so naturally and aren't you suppose to make a job out of something you love? That's what I've heard anyway:)

My blog is neither a job nor a hobby, It is therapy.

I started blogging when I was home on mat leave with my first son. I was exhausted and frustrated and lonely. Blogging helped me talk to someone, even if there was no one talking back. I took a long hiatus when I returned to work. My husband ended our marriage and left me recently and one of the first things I started to do was blog again. I have lots of supportive family and friends and I am seeing a therapist, but blogging lets me say anything I want when I want.

It is mostly a hobby, I really enjoy it. But if I could earn an income on the side that would be pretty awesome!

Blogging is a hobby for me right now. However, being that I write for a living, I am hoping to one day earn from my blogging venture. I hope to be an authoritative blog for moms who work from home, particularly those who are freelance writers.

Right now blogging is a hobby, but I would love for it to turn in to a combination... we will have to see as I just started at the beginning of 2011! :)

I would love to know more about becoming an affiliate. Right now I'm trying to build my follower base.

I'm new to blogging and it is a hobby for me still. I love to blog because it gives me a chance to voice my opinions and have adult conversations while stilll being a SAHM!

Blogging is a hobby to me. I do it because I like to document all the fun stuff my family does and pass a few tips along the way. I'd love to turn it into something more but I don't want to lose sight of what I started out doing.

I LOVE blogging, but I tend to have more than one, since I have an oldie blogging place that I love but its very personal. Blogging for me is definitely a hobby. If I could one day write professionally I would prefer a tangible book, and I would not want to be a blogger/book author personally.
