My 8yrold walked in today and asked me this question..

I had a hard time answering her right away.

I thought for a minute and said:
Where the Wild Things Are. And she said, huh??
Bread and Jam for Frances. And she said, huh??
The Best Loved Doll. Yup... she said, huh??

What are the books you loved as a kid, have your kids read them!?

All the Dr. Seuss, all the Shel Silverstein, and the entire Little Golden Books collection. :-) "Where the Wild Things Are" was great, but I do remember that I was scared to sleep in the dark afterward. LOL!
Ahhh the little golden books! I loved the tugboat one! And a weird sesame street one i can't remember the name of!
I loved the Little Golden books and read a lot of those to my daughters when they were small. I have kept all of them for grandchildren if I ever have any. (my daughters are teenagers 13 & 15)

I also love Winnie the Pooh and Friends and all their adventures!
Lori
The Pokey Little Puppy. It is a Little Golden Book. I love those.
