For me, I started to blog because I have always had a passion to write. And after kids, I kinda lost that part of me a little, and my writing went to the wayside. I started my blog simply to get back into the habit. (and to gain some sanity!)

I never imagined I'd have people I didn't know reading it!

Once, I gained some readership, I still wanted to keep my blog to keep up with my writing (read: free therapy!), but now it just wasn't about me anymore.

My reasons changed a little as to why I keeping up the blog. I found that the things I was writing about, were issues I wasn't alone on. Like, lots of women had days when they felt like Mommy Dearest. My reason to blog now, was to connect with other chica's.

I write about everything related to being a girl/woman/mama...whatever floats your boat. I try to take the stuff we are all going through, and first all, admit it. Because often times, nobody else will. And then I try to find the funny. Because if we don't laugh, we'll cry. Really hard with snot kind of crying, and that is just ugly.

And for the times when I can't find the funny, I shop. For clothes, for shoes, for purses, for the house, for anything. And then I write about that.

And when I'm depressed because I can't afford the things I'm shopping for I watch Reality TV, and then I write about that. I'm up and down and back and forth.

But, at least you'll never feel alone when you're reading my blog. At best, you'll feel WAY more normal than you did going into it.

And that's why I blog now.

So, you can feel normal. =)
