WHY do you blog?

I'm quite new to this blogging thing and I have my own reasons for getting it all going. I'm amazed to see how many moms have already jumped into the fray especially after realizing how much time it takes to keep it the blog alive. So my question is...WHY DO YOU BLOG? I'd love to hear some concise answers to this....I mean, we are all sooooo busy....so why do you blog?

My first blog was originally a private journal of letters to my son, but I found I never sat down to write in it. The computer was a lot more available to me so I just transferred it there, and voila....then I quickly found I had things I wanted to write that didn't fit into that format, so I started the other blog. It IS time-consuming and I've found a lot of my other projects have fallen by the wayside, but it brings me satisfaction.

I agree with Catherine. I'm not very witty or have anything special to write about. I mainly blog to keep all my random thoughts in one place.

I blog to share what's inside my head. I can't be the only one out there that gets frustrated with my kids, frustrated iwth myself, happy with my kids, happy with myself, have a bit of "look at me, ooh ooh me!" in them, can I???

I blog for me, it was a gift to myself. It's a great outlet,and since I work from home and am at my pc all day, it's a great way to connect. I've met so many wonderful people, and learned so much, and I've only been blogging for about 7 months.

On December 23, 2007 I was in a horrific accident. I lost a friend in the accident and nearly lost my own life. I spent seven weeks unable to walk or do for my family. I had a lot of time to think and ponder my life. It came to me that I needed to start writing things down. I have so many thoughts and stories about my life and the lives of my family that a lot of people don't know. I also take a lot of pictures of family and friends and it is also fast becoming a second job. I started my blog to not only document things in our lives but, also to showcase some of my pictures. Now, I have more that just family reading it.
