Holy Cow or Bear is this the winter den I need to be in. My MaMa Bear alter EGO has gotten me into more hot water than I care to admit. But like I told my darling #19 last night, I am prepared to throw myself in front of any bus that comes down the street with your name on the the bumper. But understand I will always win, just don't expect me to be happy about it most of the time! Looking forward to some rewarding read here.

My mama bear instinct comes out almost all the time when I got to know that my kids are made to do things they are not really up to due to peer pressure! I would almost immediately call the teacher! LOL.."too mama bear" for my own good?

My SIL just watched my 4 month old the other day. When we returned she told us we needed to put bigger clothes on him, and then informed me that she fed him baby food - knowing I wasn't giving him anything but formula. I let her have it!

Hi all! I'm new here and just had to add my 'mama' (and papa) bear incident. When my oldest was 17 and in her 'I can do what I want' stage, she got involved with a con man and his wife! Of course, everything started out harmless enough on the surface but soon escalated to some horrifying events. Me and another mama bear ended up having our own version of 'cops' where we tailed them, cornered them and got her away from him. It was horrendous. I still cringe at what could have happened to her. As I am the more aggressive bear in this family, it was quite a sight to see papa bear's reactions to all of this. The con was lucky to have NOT been there when my husband showed up.
