Hi there. I'm new to this network and the group. It's a nice place. I am a minister as well as author/blogger so I always have a cause. Right now, I am helping an author in Ghana, Edward Appiah Boakye, publish his book called A Voice from the River. (I am doing it at no charge.)
It's about a small girl who fights to protect the water in her village. Based on truth. Local schools, near his village will be using it to teach children to protect nature.
If you were to like his facebook page and say hello, it would encourage him tremendously.
I posted a picture of this author for you to get to know him a bit.
A bloggy friend of mine is trying to adopt a baby girl and needs help raising money. Can you take a look and see if there is a way you can help by either sharing or donating (or both)? http://bit.ly/TungoS
I started a challenge on my blog this year called Kids for Kindness. It's a challenge to get the whole family, kids included, in doing one random act of kindness a week for the year of 2013.
I hope you will come learn more about it and join us: http://bit.ly/TOsnxG
We also did a Google+ Hangout on Air which you can see here: http://bit.ly/WUVmhJ
Wonderful group you added Meg - thank you :)

Essays For Hope - http://essaysforhope.webs.com/
I just wanted to post this again as I have decided to keep submissions open all the time as I will publish new editions every 6 months or so.
Please share this link with anyone you know who loves to write! There are 2 volumes in the works right now that are accepting submissions and three more editions being launched officially tomorrow (for submissions). The first two books of personal essays currently cover life from a Mother's Point of View and the stories of WW2 Survivors. Tomorrow will be the inclusion of a volume of stories of a Father's Point of View on life, a volume dedicated to Love (of all types), and one volume with a very broad topic - Lifelong Learning. All profits go to the specific book's charity. Each book is published to raise money for a specific charity.
Thank you so much for your support.
Is anyone alive in here? :(
Just wanted to stop by and let you all know that the submission deadline for the Essays For Hope collections has been extended until Feb 29th. Please check out my website and feel free to submit! All proceeds from the collections will be going to various organizations that assist children in need.
Thanks everyone and please pass this on to anyone you think may be interested in submitting!
