I have to say that I am not a google+ expert but I suppose you benefit from it the same way that you benefit form Facebook and Twitter which is that you can share info and glean info!  Here is my link https://plus.google.com/u/0/107715681816400232596/posts

I haven't really gotten into G+ much, basically when you circle someone it's like following them on twitter.

You can set up circles by interest group or how you know someone. Like friend lists on facebook you can post just to a specific circle.

Anyways I've circled you Jenny and look forward to your shares.

Great idea for a group here, thanks for getting it going. Scarlet that link takes me to my own news feed, it may work for people who aren't signed up for G+ yet. You might want to link to your profile as well.
