Hallmark’s Recordable Storybooks Help You Stay in Touch When You Can’t Be There

By Jennifer James, Founder, Mom Bloggers Club

I have partnered this summer with Hallmark as one of their Storytellers to share their recordable storybooks with you.

This month I recorded All the Ways I Love You by Theresa Trinder and illustrated by Aaron DeWitt. It is a sweet story of a parent's love for their child. What makes Hallmark's storybooks so remarkable is they allow a loved one who can't be with a child to still read them a story. This is great for grandparents, parents in the military, and anyone who would love to read a story in their own voice to that special someone in their life.

In my case, I don't get to see my young niece often, so this is a perfect way for her to still hear my voice even though I am states away.

Listen to my audio review of All the Ways I Love You. Not only can you hear more about why I love these storybooks, you can also hear how the recordable storybooks sound.

While the storybooks are electronic they are surprisingly lightweight. Here's a side view of the storybook I just recorded.

The instructions to record the storybook are extremely simple. You can record a storybook in as little as fifteen minutes. While I'm sure you would want to invest more time in your story, it really it that easy to use and record.

Next month I will be recording another story. This time I will post video of how easy the storybooks are to use and share with children in your life.

For more information, visit www.hallmark.com.

I have five Hallmark recordable storybooks to give away: Hey Diddle, Diddle, Bright and Beautiful, I Love You Grandma, My Grandpa and Me and We're Not Scared of Anything.

To win, simply leave a comment! Giveaway ends July 31, 2010.

This giveaway is sponsored by Hallmark and this summer I serve as one of the Hallmark Storytellers.

This is fantastic! I read to my girls each afternoon, as well as right before bedtime. What a wonderful memory this book would give a child!

These are WONDERFUL! I love this idea! I would probably keep a few and send a few to my mom to read and send back if I won. :) I'm going to tell my mom what a great Christmas gift this would be, though.

Wow that was WAY clearer than I expected! I have a few special new little ones in my life (not my own, but LIKE my own) and the hardest part is going to be figuring out which of the little ones this would go to! Thanks so much for recording the sample, I am a hallmark gold crown member and love their products. I often dream of owning my own Hallmark Franchise! Although I'd probably want to keep everything for myself and not want to put it on the shelves! LOL :-)

I had seen the commercials, but like Ivette when i went to get a couple, they were all sold out and didn't know when they would come in. Frankly, I forgot about them- would love to win the series!
