Let the Summer reading continue with this list of great reading. I found that the small board books are best for infants and the books with CD works great with small children. It's also a great activity to do together by reading along the story. Don't forget to mention the different little body parts.

What's happening with technology & the classroom???

Funny, technology...it should help you make faster calculations, help you explore more places and help you discover the World. But is that really happening nowadays??? As I see this funny cartoon, I do see that the classroom has become so high-tech but are we really missing the point to teach. To really gather everyone in groups for discussions and exchange ideas & concepts. You even see computers for toddlers at local libraries!!! That's advancement but so is literature and excellent…

I spent a year in Sweden as an exchange student and just started getting comfortable with speaking Swedish when it was time for me to come home. I didn't meet a lot of Swedish speakers so I lost it pretty quickly. My husband is fluent is Spanish though. He spent a couple of years in Uruguay and works in landscaping here in AZ so he uses it all the time. I have a very limited basic grasp of Spanish; I took two years in high school and 2 years in College. I do plan on teaching my children Spanish. Maybe we could collaborate on our blogs as I have plenty of Spanish speaking au pairs just dying to teach their kids Spanish. Let me know.
