I know it goes around, but we've been rather lucky. I don't remember when the flu was in our house. Well, it's here now. Mary has it. Poor kid. She's doing ok. Went to the doctor a little while ago. Her fever was high yesterday and this morning but it's gone down. The doctor told us to keep her home the rest of the week. It's going to be fun getting make up work from her math teacher. She has a selective memory.

Friday has become the day I go to the school to spend lunch time with Mary. Sometimes we just sit inside while she eats the lunch she gets there at school, but on occasion I pick something up for us to eat and we sit out in the Explorer and enjoy the quiet. The school doesn't allow kids to eat 'fast food' in the cafeteria, even if it's brought by a parent.

I really get tired of saying that time goes by too fast, but it does, doesn't it?

It's well past the middle of January and I just can't see where it's gone.

I'm not an overly busy person, but the routines of the day come like clock-work and the days just fly by. I feel like time is running out, sometimes, and there is so much left to do.

Wow! It's been a while since I've posted here. Visited! Browsed around and visited some wonderful places, but haven't posted.
We're looking forward to Thanksgiving here in Savannah. Not the cold we've been having, but the holiday spirit and warmth of the family. We have no family nearby, but our phone line will be busy as soon as California wakes up.
