Regarding to lightweight strollers - I've just added couple of review, you can check it out here: http://www.littlebabygear.com/best-lightweight-strollers/ I spent many hours searching for a lightweight stroller that would be sturdy and agile, with a large storage basket and other features you've mentioned, that provide comfort for the baby (and mommy!:)) As a mother I know how important is the ease of use, I always choose strollers that I can easily push with one hand. My absolute top 3 lightweight strollers are: Recaro Easylife, BabyZen Yoyo+ (but this one is pretty expensive) and Mountain Buggy Nano. They are light, they have amazing wheels and you can push them with one hand. I hope that my reviews will help you to choose better stroller for your next trip!

You wrote that you are looking for a versatile and durable travel system and I can truly recommend you UPPAbaby Vista. It can be used with a car seat, bassinet or seat for toddler, for one baby or two. It's not a lightweight type of stroller, but actually it's pretty light and handy and small when folded. I take it on every family trip. But if you are more interested in lightweight strollers stay tuned because I'm planning to add few reviews of this type of strollers which I've tested recenlty.
