"My House, My Rules" - My Mother's Philosophy

I was just having a conversation with my mother today about her philosophy, "My house, My rules." I have had the privilege of being on both sides of that fence. As a kid growing up in her house, I dealt with having to live by her rules as most of us have while living with our parents. Some rules I agreed with and others I didn't, but it didn't matter if I agreed or not because I was living in herhouse with her rules. Now I'm a mother living in my own home…
