- I am a grammy to seven happy,hilarious kids who love laughing and learning. At 71, I feel I have something worthwhile to say, and am glad to have the forum to say it on. After retiring from 30+ years in education, I became an author of children's books and chapter books for tweens/teens. I've dedicated each of the children's books to one of my grandchildren so they will have a lasting memory of me when I'm gone from their sight, but never from their hearts. The chapter books are dedicated to my family members that had the greatest impact on my growth and development. I love telling stories that are based largely in reality with a tinge of fantasy added for good measure.
