Share a little something about yourself with other moms.: I'm a semi-green mom of seven beautiful babes who loves to blog about my momhood experiences. I love the natural and organic. I'm passionate about breast feeding and home births. I love tea, herbs and essential oils. I also love to dabble in creating my own natural products. Though, I'm not as green as I'd like to be, I do my best.

Organic Virgin Palm Oil Giveaway! Ends June 8th

What is Virgin Palm Oil?

It is a palm oil “traditionally made” and hails from the tropical palm tree native to the tropical areas in Africa. Tropical Traditions sources this oil from West Africa, from small scale family farmers, that are certified organic. It’s red hue comes from it’s unrefined state, which contains carotenoids. It is fascinating to learn from Tropical Traditions website that virgin palm oil contains 15 times more carotenoids than carrots and 300 times more than tomatoes!
