Dealing With A Negligent Birthing Experience And The PTSD That Can Come With It

It’s estimated that 9% of women experience postpartum post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) following childbirth due to a real or perceived trauma. Unfortunately, this…

How To Improve Your Sanity During the Covid Crisis

It’s unbelievable. While it seemed that life was about to finally get back to normal with the gradual opening of states, all of a sudden an uptick in COVID-19 cases has hit the country like a tidal wave. While many governors have vowed not to completely shut down states again many are still not fully opened. And, to…

Three Start-Ups to Consider After the Covid Crisis

If your job is in flux and you are not sure if you will even be employed when the COVID-19 crisis is finally over it might be time to start thinking about being a part of a start-up. To be sure, becoming an entrepreneur during a time when everything is uncertain might not be the best time to begin a business. Sometimes,…

I'm a stay-at-home mother to 2 sets of twins. Life is fun...oh, did I mention it's also crazy, chaotic and completely overwhelming?? With that said, I wouldn't change a thing....okay, maybe one sure would be nice to sleep in every once in awhile (just 1 day out of 365 that too much to ask?) I do feel very blessed with all that I have in my life and to those that say "wow, you have your hands full", I say "yes, better to have hands full than empty arms and a broken heart".
What is your blogging philosophy?
Be real!!! In my blog, I don't sugar coat anything. I want to remember every detail and every milestone of my children's life, as well as some of the thoughts and concerns I have in my own daily life, aside from being a mom. So sometimes the posts aren't all "sunshine and roses"'s just about my life and that includes the good, the bad and the ugly!
I have been blogging since...

Things you never want to hear from a potential babysitter during an interview

How often do you expect me to take the kids to the park...I have a fear of grass.

I hope you don't mind if I bring my imaginary friend with me.

It's cool if you need me to cook meals… Continue

Hi there from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York where you'll find light, witty and rather entertaining articles on every topic imaginable from The Little Black Dress to Making Whoopie. So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time.

Thank you for the welcome, although you so beat me on the twins and bathrooms!! The only thing I got to go with at the moment on top of it, is my 1 year old son brushing his teeth with the toilet brush while his sister put every possible piece of toilet paper into the toilet. What is with the fascination??? These are the only two times so far they have made it in there!! I imagine you have many a story up your sleeve! I look forward to reading some of them on your blog!! :)
