Share a little something about yourself with other moms.: My name is Jennifer and I love to coupon! I’m located out of Acworth, GA not far from Atlanta. I started couponing in February 2011. This couldn’t have come at a better time for my family. In January my husband lost his overtime and our health insurance went up. We lost over $15,000 of income. We needed to drastically cut back on our spending. At that time our grocery bill was $600.00 per month. With gas prices going up, bills going up, the only expense I could control was our grocery bill. But cutting our budget down meant I had to buy less at the store. This was hard to do for a family of five, two dogs and a cat. One night watching TV with my hubby a show came on called Extreme Couponing. We watched that show and I was hooked! If they could save that much money on food so can I! I went online the next day and started researching how to coupon. I learned that my original way of couponing was incorrect and I needed to change my habits. Several months later I started saving over 50% of my grocery bill and brought home more food and home products than I could ever imagine! Now I save anywhere from 50% to 90% of my bill.

In today’s current economy everyone is cutting back on spending and not using credit cards. I know my family is currently trying to pay off credit cards and debt so we have more money per month. Using coupons has helped us tremendously reach this goal. As prices go up, I can still spend $50.00 to $100.00 per week on groceries. Last year we really cut our spending and didn’t vacation. Yes, there is. In this economy many families have to make that decision. I personally had to file for bankruptcy 7 years ago. This was due to a car accident and separation with my now ex-husband. During the
