- I'm not a mom yet, but this blog covers something that I feel very strongly about. I was blessed with the opportunity to experience art and culture in school and I want to make sure my kids get to enjoy that same privilege. Unfortunately, as budgets are being slashed, it seems that won't be likely. But the ExperienceLA program is trying to make art and culture much more accessible to the Los Angeles area, especially to families with young kids. I wanted to share this resource with as many people as possible because I think it's a valuable tool, and I don't think my government is doing a very good job at providing alternatives to this important aspect of education and development.
