Share a little something about yourself with other moms.: I originally was blogging at Strawberryseeds.net but needed to take a break for family reasons. During that "hiatus", things around me changed and my focus changed. My story is an open book or blog and I now write at juicybitts/blogspot.com about my healthier way of life. I have become a runner and am a proponent for juicing and paleo eating. I am realistic though and live in the same world you all do so it isn't always easy or perfect. I have 3 kids. One is a 2 time cancer survivor at the age of 10, another has Aspergers and another is a typical teen that probably makes me crazier than any of the other issues! :)

A trip 5 years in the making ... or was that Forty Five?

So It is already a month into the summer break and I am amazed, as I always am, by the swiftness of time. Like many of us I have two favorite times, Summer and the Holiday Season. Both have a huge build up and both are over entirely too soon. My object for each is to enjoy every moment. I am off to a good start with this season.

A quick Update ....

We were in the Hem/onc clinic again yesterday for Julia’s lab check. The procedure is quick and painless … for most … but it sets fear in my sould each month. I am guessing Julia is feeling the same way because she promptly passed out after the fingerstick and blood draw. Yup. Green, pale and gray … then slid right out of her chair. So the visit ended up a bit longer…

Saying Goodbye in Her Own Way ....
