Marcie Chavez is the Director of Human Resources at a community hospital (Grants, NM) since 2015 and is the only “millennial” on the hospital’s Executive Team. Marcie first started her career in Marketing and Communications, winning a New Mexico American Marketing Association award for her Advent Solar B2B Marketing Campaign. After 9 years of marketing experience, she discovered a passion for organizational development and employee engagement.
Marcie has experience in employee relations, marketing, and public relations for hospitals, financial institutions, and energy corporations. She holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Organizational Behavior from the University of New Mexico and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from New Mexico State University, and is a SHRM-SCP. Marcie is a wife and mother of three young girls. In her spare time she is a local Girl Scout Leader and participates in her local Rotary and PEO chapters.
