Share a little something about yourself with other moms.: I am the mother of three (2 girls and a boy), and the grandmother of 4 wonderful grand kids, and one greatgrandson. I am an Aussie transplant, and have lived in Oregon with my husband and family for many years.

I am a children's author. My 15th children's book is now published.YEA!! I love writing in rhyme, because boys and reluctant readers are HOOKED easier by rhyming stories. My stint as a teacher's aid taught me this. Reading is a magic carpet ride to wonderful places, and kids who love reading have a distinct advantage in school and in life.

I use SKYPE to fly my Magic Carpet of Books into schools and libraries worldwide. It is a great way to get kids interested in reading and writing.

I also run a Manuscript Critique Service for aspiring writers, and my website is full of helpful writing advice. Being a Mom is one of the most important jobs a woman can have. Our children always need someone to love them, be there to pick up the pieces, and teach them that knowing the rules of "cause and effect" can make life much happier.

I have been blogging since...: Blogging several years. My Website has been up for about 8 years.
