Hi there from The Girlz Korner in upstate New York where you'll find light, witty and rather entertaining articles on every topic imaginable from The Little Black Dress to Making Whoopie. So if you get a chance to kick back and exhale, if only for a brief moment ... come on over and see me some time.

Melissa,
I posted this in the wrong place, so here goes again-
I would love to gather posts on family schedules when one child is in the hospital or too ill at home to carry on a regular schedule. I'd also like to do one about siblings perspectives and the parenting challenge of dealing with the emotional health of siblings of chronically ill children. I'm fairly new to blogging so I'm open to ideas of how to structure it all. I've been writing a lot about how my family has done things-sometimes well and sometimes... umm, not. Any ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks so much Melissa. This is a great site.

I just took a quick look at your site -- I really like it, especially the post about how to get kids to write. I have a three year old that I'm going to try the M&M sorting with too.

Hi Melissa, sorry it took me so long to write back. I think we could really work well together with your classes. Offering publishing for their books would be awesome for the kids. What a confidence builder for them them to have thier own books in their hands to share. Keep this in mind as you plan your classes and lets keep in touch. O.K.??

Thanks, I went to your website and it looks great,I will definately go back and finish reading. We should try to come up with something together to go along with your writing classes. Not sure what yet but maybe one of your classes could publish their writing projects into a book. Our online version of I'm An Author walks you through all the steps. Since you teach a writing class you would not need the lesson plans you could just do the publishing part to go along with whatever they complete in your class. There are so many options we could do!!!!. Do you mind if I use some of your material from your site if I link back to you everytime in the article? Keep the Faith
