Share a little something about yourself with other moms.: Hi my name is Michelle and I live in the beautiful area of Delta, British Columbia, Canada. I’m 20 minutes away from the city of Vancouver where I grew up. I love living on the west coast of BC. I’m married with one daughter who is 10, my husband Paul our 2 dogs Luna & Little Zeus and last but not least our Cat Oliver. As you can see we’re a family of animal lovers. I've just recently been laid off from a f/t job of 9 years at a university and am figuring out what to do now. I'm thoroughly enjoying being able to pick up my daughter from school on a regular basis, something I was rarely able to do before. I’d love to be able to continue to do this, help more with her activities and just be here more. I'm trying out many things, exploring and establishing what I can do and still be able to have this quality time with her.

I'm attracted to blogging as I love to write and connect with people for the purposes of sharing experiences, helping each other and building communities of practice in life. My first blog is about my blogging philosophy and a little more on why I wanted to start a blog.

Working from home how do we do it?

I'd love to hear what other moms are doing and how they do it for work at home businesses. I've been recently laid off but have been enjoying my time at home. Keeping super busy by being there more for my daughter, taking her to activities, helping more with homework. So much so that I really don't want to go back working 50+ hours/week outside the home after doing it for 9 years as a parent. I've started a website which is linked to Amazon but it's very new so I'm not sure how that will go.…
