They say red hair is getting more rare. It's getting more common in my family...my son and I are the only ones I know. We found others naturally but they are distant. I used to have red hair until he was born...those late nights took its toll:)
I remember a Trader Joes off the highway just north of Chicago (going toward Milwaukee) but we would see it only after passing the exit. Waukeegan perhaps? I think it was a little closer in than that.
Seems to me we could only see it in the winterish months when the leaves were off the trees. Had to return a corked bottle once, very easy return policy.
Give it a shot when you're in the area some time.

The day I screamed out for a margarita was just 'one of those days'. Geez! (I'm crossing my fingers that today is better.
My oldest is on the Autism spectrum and some days the rollercoaster goes off the tracks. You just have to hold on tight and look to the sky for hope.
So here we are. Another beautiful morning, and trying for the best.
And hey, about Sisters, OR. Yup, there are the 3 sisters mountains Faith, Hope and Charity. But I need to look into The Husband. (Google here I come!)
It's quite possible that Crater Lake was snowed in during a past August. Mother Natures wild like that.
However last July my husband had 2nd degree burns on his face from our afternoon visit! (Medication and lack of sunscreen can do that, the silly boy.)
Here's hoping that, for tonight, a nice glass of wine will suffice.

I can relate to the teen stage and wine!!:) I have 5 children ages, 17, 14, 12, 8 and 5:) I think more than just one glass:)
