Share a little something about yourself with other moms.: I retired in 2008, after working 25 years in banking and 7 years as an office manager. I discovered a love for writing. I write about my bunnies. I enjoy nothing better than sharing my bunny photos and stories with children. Recently, I wrote a couple of books that were actually not about bunnies: "The Frighted Lamb, an Easter Story" and "Old People", a short story about aging.

I had the pleasure of sharing my photos, tales, and bunnies with students at Whigham Elementary this morning. They enjoyed seeing my bunny photos on the screen and hearing about them too. Their favorite part was getting to see my 3 little bunnies and getting to pet one. One cute little boy asked me what I would charge him for a bunny. I told him that I brought them to show and they were not for sale. He then said, "I have $4!" How cute is that?

Thanksgiving in February

Hi Everyone:

We had our 'mini' Thanksgiving in February over the weekend. My husband has 6 siblings, and they all have their own families that they spend the Thanksgiving holiday with. My sister-in-law, Cara, started a tradition several years ago. She felf that it was important for the siblings to have time together. Company's Coming

We're having company next week end, so I started cleaning today. You know, the kind of things I don't do every week: cleaning windows, moving and sweeping furniture, wiping kitchen cabinets. I'll try to do a project or 2 each day and hopefully I'll be finished by the time our guest arrive.
