Requirments for Kindergarten

I was talking with some other parents the other day and found out that for the school distric that I live it is mandatory that kids know how to count to 20 and know there ABCs. When I went to kindergarden thats what we learned and not all kids are at the same speed some learn slower then others. I thought this was crazy maybe its just me though. I know in pre k they learn that stuff but not all parents can afford to sen their kids to pre k. What every one elses on this?

Ok does anyone have advice for helping potty train a girl my daughters 2 and we are having a hard time potty training her. Anyone got some advice? PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!

Halloween Costumes

Its getting the time of year that many different kids love free candy and dressing up: HALLOWEEN. I love to see the different costumes that the kids wear. My daughters first halloween she was a lady bug, last year she went was a kitty cat, and this year shes being a flower fairy. This year will be my sons first halloween and hes gonna be a monkey. I wanna hear about some of your halloween costumes or funny halloween stories.
