- I'm like a Hypochondriac's Dictionary - the past 5 years have seen me finally diagnosed as having an underactive thyroid (22 years after over a 100lbs weight gain in a year!), high cholesterol, high blood pressure. They have me on enough meds now that it's a wonder I don't rattle!
I have physical problems that now make mobility difficult, walking and standing are painful. I have both hips and both knees needing replacing but am allergic to anaesthesia so the surgeries are not an option. I try to do deep breathing for pain and have a hiking stick for walking down to my field or distances when out. I use shopping carts as a "walker" at the store, LOL.
I have a wonderful life though with many blessings. 3 grown children. 9 grandchildren ages 3 - 18, a long suffering hubby, and a menagerie of animals (we used to foster/rescue before my health became a problem).
