Do you ever have one of those days where everything is going PERFECT? No melt-downs during breakfast (from the toddler or the husband), two hour nap (for the toddler and the husband) and an early evening of shopping for the mommy! Let me start this post with declaring I AM A DOG LOVER. Truly, I am. Until last April when I had to put down my beloved Ivan, I had three dogs. Two of them rescues, one purebred (my husband's hunting hopes gone wrong). If I was independently wealthy and had acres of land, I would have my own canine rescue. So, no comments on how I must not be an animal lover.

Back to school time starts it off. Every where you turn people, places, organizations are collecting school supplies for kids who would otherwise have none. So me, understanding what it feels like to go to school with little or no supplies, grabs a few things every time I go to Target (which by my Quicken register is at least 3x per week).
